As colder weather approaches, the idea of staying in and ordering from our favorite restaurants sounds way more appealing than getting bundled up and braving the chill to dine out. Chili’s is making the decision 10 times easier with its newest idea. Starting Nov. 6 and ending Nov. 19, the restaurant chain is promoting its food delivery service by offering “starter packs” filled with some killer (and creative) promo items for select delivery customers.

“We get it. Our guests don’t always have the time or want to leave the comfort of their homes,” Ellie Doty, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Chili’s, said in a press release. “I deeply understand because I love being on the couch with my boys in my jammies binge-watching TV. And, that’s exactly why you need a #ChilisMyHouse starter pack in your life. With 1.7 million homes across America becoming Chili’s restaurants, whether you’re licking BBQ sauce off your fingers in the bathtub or trying to avoid pausing the latest series you’re obsessed with, this custom starter pack will give you all the feels in a way only Chili’s can.”
The process to be selected for the #ChilisMyHouse starter pack is as easy as ordering from the Chili’s website or app, selecting delivery (which is free) and sharing your delivery on social by tagging @Chilis. Sounds pretty simple, right? And the merch is worth it.
The starter pack includes a custom “Hi, Welcome to the [your family name]” doormat, which is nice use of personalization. There are also other items like a wooden TV tray with the Chili’s logo, trivia cards and a chip clip printed with “We’ve got delivery in the bag. Order online at Chilis.com/delivery.”
Oh, and there’s a baby back ribs scented candle.
The day before the starter pack’s contents were officially revealed, Chili’s fans were already eager for it to drop. Twitter user @mtchllhrtly responded to the post saying, “I need this in my life.” Chili’s tweeted back, “But you don’t even know what it is. [laughing emoji]”

There’s no word on how many #ChilisMyHouse starter packs there are, but judging from the chain’s social channels and the press release, they seem to be very limited. It’s a neat idea from Chili’s, especially because, as they pointed out, even if you aren’t selected to win the free merch box, you still get free delivery.
