commonsku + Numo Upcycles Merch from skucon

commonsku and Numo teamed together to “make magic from skucon merch.”

AT skucon in Las Vegas, 48 tablecloths were created for the event with supplier partner Visual Textiles. After the conference, to extend the lifestyle of the tablecloths beyond the event, they were shipped to Numo to be up cycled. Numo’s team of makers then cut and sewed each tablecloth into pouches, which were redistributed to every attendee post-event.

“We’re proudly a software platform that powers the industry’s distributors and suppliers,” says Mark Graham, commonsku president and chief brand officer. “And we’re also proudly promo, meaning we love to showcase our industry’s potential. At commonsku events, such as skucon and skucamp, our mission is to inspire the industry’s best merchandisers, not only with inspiring education, but also by demonstrating — along with our supplier partners — the most creative ways to use promo. With Numo’s incredible up cycling program, we wanted to encourage distributors to think about a product’s life cycle through a sustainable outlook. Our team is proud to continue to work twith such innovative supplier partners who not only create amazing perch for at-event experiences, but also think beyond the event and toward future impact.”

“This is exactly the kind of lifecycle we should be thinking about when we consider promotions for our customers, thinking how we can create smart merchandise experiences that last, and at the same time reduce our impact,” said Elizabeth Wimbush, PPAI’s director of sustainability and responsibility. “Such a great example of a win-win.”
