St. Paul, Minnesota-based supplier Crystal D donated crystal awards to three industry organizations: the Upper Midwest Association of Promotional Professionals (UMAPP), the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) and the Michigan Promotional Professionals Association (MiPPA). The company also contributed to the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF).
Thirteen awards were donated to UMAPP including the UMAPP Lifetime Achievement Award and twelve golf awards. Al and Phyllis Hohenwald received the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award, the Citadel Award (#5602). In addition, the company sponsored a hole as part of the golf tournament. The twelve golf awards honored winners for longest putt, longest drive, first place, and second place with the Wedge Award (#6623, 6624, 6625).
The donation to MiPPA included four golf awards for the top four performing golfers. The award was the Burnhaven Golf Award (#7056).
The donation to ASI was for the ASI Power Summit and included thirteen golf awards and fifty ASI Power 50 Awards. The Stafford Peak (#6806) was chosen for the Power 50 awards. The golf awards included first place with the Birdie Award (#9105), second place with the Fairway Award (#9102), third place with the Cascata Award (#6813), and closest to the pin with the Putter Award (#9104).
Additionally, Crystal D contributed to the PPEF college scholarship fund. This contribution helped fund 678 students with scholarships for higher education.
