St. Paul, Minnesota-based Crystal D, a leading supplier of corporate recognition awards, is sponsoring Nancy Rush of Kelly Promotions to complete a half-marathon through the Minnesota chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training.
Rush, who is an avid runner, has battled chronic lymphocytic leukemia and decided to participate in this half-marathon to raise funds for blood cancer research. “This half-marathon will allow me to combine my two passions–running and raising funds for blood cancer research,” said Rush.
“Nancy is a long-time customer and friend of Crystal D, so we are happy to support her mission to raise funds for such a great cause,” said Chuck Dahlgren, president.
The half-marathon takes place October 19 in San Francisco, Calif.
