Custom Plastic Specialties Reports Major Growth In 2007

Erie, Pennsylvania-based Custom Plastic Specialties, makers of the Keystone line, have reason to celebrate. The company reported revenue of more than $20 million for the 2007 fiscal year. This figure represents a substantial increase from 2006 earnings, which were reported at approximately $16 million. Such substantial earnings place them firmly on the Promo Marketing list of top industry suppliers.

Kippie Helzel, MAS, vice president, sales for Custom Plastic Specialties commented on the company’s success. “We had a strategic plan moving into 2007 to significantly improve our service levels in every area of the company. The diversification in our core product offerings and a higher commitment to servicing our distributors, combined with a multi-year marketing ‘re-branding program,’ really helped put CPS in an excellent position,” she said. “2007 was another growth year for CPS/Keystone, and we are proud to have achieved a significant increase in volume with efficiency and the highest level of on-time delivery. Moving forward, I believe that we will have another solid year, notwithstanding the current trends, because of our well-established reputation for delivering value and service, both of which are essential elements in the current economic climate,” Helzel concluded.
