Daughter of Hub Pen Employee is 2009 PPEF Scholarship Recipient

The Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF) announced the recipients of its 2009 Scholarships awards, and among the winners is Tammy Thai, daughter of Hub Pen’s Truong Thai. The younger Thai graduated from Quincy High School in June, and will be attending the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where she is enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy program.

The PPEF is organized to foster education for promotional products industry employees and their dependents by providing financial assistance through scholarships for pursuing educational opportunities. The process by which PPEF scholarship recipients are selected is a detailed one, involving reviews of academic achievement and careful evaluation of essays and resumes, said Wayne Greenberg, MAS, chair-elect of the PPEF Board of Trustees.

Everyone at Hub Pen is extremely proud of Tammy’s accomplishments, and wish her every success in her college career.
