Geiger, Lewiston, Maine, welcomed back David Geiger, effective Nov. 12, 2018. He will become general counsel once he is admitted to the Maine State Bar. A recent graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, David represents the fifth generation of Geigers to work at the family-owned company.
Geiger joined the business in 2007, starting in manufacturing engineering services during school breaks from the University of Southern California (USC), where he studied business administration, management, law and entrepreneurship. After receiving his undergraduate degree, David held the role of compliance manager until he left to pursue a degree in law.
Geiger will ensure the company’s compliance with global laws and regulations. He will also handle a variety of corporate law-related matters, assist in drafting and negotiating complex agreements, and participate in the strategic growth of the company as part of the mergers and acquisitions team.
“I am so happy to be back at work, especially during this period of Geiger leadership and industry transition,” Geiger said. “There’s so much to learn, but I’m excited to have the opportunity to support our company’s domestic and international growth, and to oversee our compliance efforts. [I am] proud to be a member of Geiger family [generation] five. My job now is to support the great people of Geiger Nation and make ours an even stronger company.”
