Delta Apparel, Greenville, S.C., announced that its digital print subsidiary, DTG2Go is opening a new printing facility in Dallas and another in Cranbury, New Jersey.
The facilities are set to open this summer, and will focus on DTG2Go’s digital print and fulfillment platform within Delta’s blank garment distribution network. It will also improve customer service levels and fulfillment speed, with one-day shipping to more than half of the company’s U.S. customers.
“We are thrilled to expand our nationwide footprint with the opening of integrated facilities in these important Midwest and Northeast Markets,” Deborah Merrill, president and chief financial officer of Delta, said in a press release. “These new locations will enhance both our delivery speed and fulfillment capabilities, and further solidify our industry-leading position in the digital print market.”
Merrill added that the company has been happy with the results after opening a similar facility in Miami, and hopes that the two new locations will boost the company’s activewear business offerings.
“The single-source solution for customers is unique in the market, and allows us to take advantage of expansion opportunities across multiple sales channels outside of DTG2Go’s traditional customer base,” she added. “Including brick-and-mortar retailers, traditional screen printers, promotional product providers, large brands and others.”
The Dallas and Cranbury locations will supplement the company’s fulfillment network in Miami; Clearwater, Fla.; Reno, Nev.; Storm Lake, Iowa; and Fayetteville, N.C.
