End-Buyer Research: Advertising & Marketing

ASI Research has expanded its exclusive data on promotional products end-buyers with a new study exploring several new market segments, as well as data to come breaking down both end-buyer and consumer insights by age, region and more. Each week, we’ll release a new infographic that highlights a given demographic and offers insight into their buying habits and priorities.

The last industry we’re breaking down is the advertising and marketing sector, which represents more than $1.1 billion in sales for the promo industry, according to ASI’s 2024 State of the Industry report.

Global ad spending is projected to surpass $1 trillion for the first time in 2025, GroupM predicted, which reflects a continuously expanded digital and social media focus. But in an industry that’s all about branding, promotional products continue to be key for improving brand awareness – 96% of advertising and marketing promotional products end-buyers said that promo products and apparel were an effective medium for doing so, more than other industries surveyed.
