Final 2012 Presidential Debate Materials Produced by Mohawk

In support of the third and final presidential debate of the 2012 election, Cohoes, New York-based Mohawk has partnered with Océ and Lynn University to provide the printed materials for the event.

The debate between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger, Mitt Romney, will be held on October 22nd at 9:00 pm EST in the Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center on the campus of Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.

Océ, a Silver Sponsor of the debate, called upon Mohawk to partner in this momentous occasion because of Mohawk’s high-quality products, specifically their new Specialty Digital Substrates. The ability for Mohawk to provide a wide range of synthetic materials and premium papers for the production of event materials—press releases, guidebooks, campus maps, programs, car decals, window signs and commemorative posters—was a key factor in the coordination of this multifaceted project.

“It’s an honor for Mohawk to be asked by Océ to participate in this important historical event. Mohawk has always been a supporter of educational institutions, and we were happy to supply the materials needed to produce the printed materials for the final debate,” said Chris Harrold, vice president, business development, digital technologies, for Mohawk.
