Gill Studios, Lenexa, Kan., was honored as winner of the “Packaging Material” category for the first ever Lenstar Lenticular Print Award (LLPA) at Dimensions 3 International 3D and New Images Forum in Paris, France.
The winning piece is an original Gill Studios design utilizing a multi-frame scatter and convergence effect for a distributor’s sales team. This new award demonstrates the importance of lenticular imaging and its unique hold on consumer attention.
The LLPA 2011 was the first venue strictly for lenticular printers and included entries from around the world. There were five separate categories with nominations narrowed down to six per category. The judging was based on design, print quality, and technical merit.
