Family-owned Heritage Sportswear Inc., based in Hebron, Ohio, the Midwest’s largest independent distributor of blank apparel and accessories, recently added Michael Sweeney to their sales force, bringing total territory managers to eight. Sweeney has a 22-year history in the promotional products industry, leaving Broder to join Heritage on May 12, 2008. He will provide sales and service to Western Pa. and N.Y., and plans to initiate several efficient and profitable hotel shows throughout his territory in late summer, early fall of 2008.
Cindy Sims joined Heritage Sportswear on May 5, 2008 assuming the new role of public relations and promotions manager. Under the direction of marketing director Tami Miller, Sims will provide copywriting services, trade-show and event organization, advertising management and marketing plans for co-op budgets. Sims has 27-years experience in advertising and marketing, most recently as director of business development for Select Specialty Hospital of Zanesville, Ohio.
