Hub Pen Company Employees’ Daughters Win NEPPA 2016 Scholarships

Hub Pen Company, Braintree, Mass., is proud to announce that the daughters of two employees have received New England Promotional Products Association (NEPPA) 2016 scholarships.

Carmen Huang, daughter of longtime material handler Bing Yi Cao, will attend Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. Huang is a member of the National Honor Society, the Science National Honor Society, the Foreign Language National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.

She spends her spare time volunteering and working with middle school children in her community.

Jiaxin Wang received a NEPPA scholarship and will study at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Jiaxin Wang, daughter of silk-screen worker Xianrong Wang, will major in pre-medical biochemistry and molecular biology at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Wang received the President’s Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, the Mary Catherine Ianoni Honorary Award and the Quincy Women’s Club Trust Award.

NEPPA supports its members and their children by awarding four $1,000 scholarships annually to winning recipients who it considers the “best and brightest.” Over the years, the organization has awarded $44,000 in scholarships.
