In Memoriam: Howard Seegar, HTT Apparel

Howard Seegar, founder of HTT Apparel, Murrieta, Calif., passed away on Thursday April, 24, 2014, at his Temecula, Calif., home, from illnesses suffered over the last few years. He was 76 years old.

Howard was a graduate of Rider College and served in the U.S. Army. He was a successful businessman and an innovator in the cap, apparel and promotions industries. Howard was one of the original importers of caps in the mid 70s. He began his career by his father’s side in the family’s New York cap factory when he was only 5 years old. He would move west to continue his career in the cap business. In 1991, Howard founded Head to Toe, a headwear, apparel and accessories company, which continues to this day.

Howard is survived by Donna, his wife of 30 years, four children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is currently being planned. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
