Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based Raining Rose Inc. recently hosted Governor Chet Culver on a stop of his “Move Iowa Forward” tour. Raining Rose Inc. had more than eight feet of water in its manufacturing facility during the June flood of 2008 but has since recovered and is operating at full capacity.
Raining Rose Inc. has added 15 new employees since June 2008, showing great growth during a time of great adversity. “This just again represents great teamwork and a commitment to help move Cedar Rapids forward and the state forward,” Culver said.
