EY recently announced that Ross Silverstein, the founder, president and CEO of iPROMOTEu, Wayland, Mass., is a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 Award in the New England Region. The awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their business and communities. Silverstein was selected as a finalist from nearly 50 nominations by a panel of independent judges.
iPROMOTEu was founded by Silverstein in 1999 and is a service provider to promotional products distributors. It is one of the largest and fastest growing distributor organizations in the promotional products industry. The company has a staff of nearly 70 people and provides assistance with order financing, order processing and follow-up, sales and marketing, accounting and technology, and vendor issues. The company has experienced annual revenue increases of approximately 20 percent or more during each of the past four years and generated more than $100 million in revenue in 2013. iPROMOTEu has been included in Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000—its annual listing of the fastest growing private companies in America—each of the past four years.
In response to his recognition, Silverstein commented that “The EY Entrepreneur of the Year is a very prestigious program, and I am honored to have been nominated and to have been recognized as a finalist. Of course, none of this would be possible without the tremendous support of iPROMOTEu’s staff and affiliate network.”
