K-Swiss, the athletic sneaker brand popular in the ’90s (bonus points for anyone that remembers these—thanks, dad) but very much still around, recently announced a very on-trend and chic collection, which dropped last week. It’s a “Clueless” branded shoe collection. Yes, this is really happening. And yes, there is lots of plaid.

For anyone who’s been following recent trends, plaid is back and was especially popular this past fall. Even celebrities like Taylor Swift are rocking it. While the trend was already giving us total Cher vibes, the K-Swiss shoe collection is a way for people to wear the style more than a couple of times, and over the course of numerous seasons.
We have to say, the whole thing is pretty rad. There’s two different styles: a classic white pair with a pop of plaid on the heel for those into a more subtle look, and an all-over plaid version if your taste is more daring. Both are retailing for $80. The yellow plaid designs are a direct nod to Cher and her matching blazer and skirt, but the best part might be the soles, which feature the name of the movie on one and the popular quote, “Ugh! As if!” on the other.

Branded footwear is becoming increasingly popular. Back in March, Dunkin’ Donuts released a pair of Saucony x Dunkin’ Kinvara 10 sneakers, which were promotional running shoes for the Boston Marathon, and the shoes sold out completely. Post Malone has a bunch of collaborations with Crocs—how could you miss those bright yellow shoes? And there have been a ton of others.
As of now, the K-Swiss “Clueless” shoes are still available, but if you were planning on grabbing a limited-edition pair (or two) for yourself, it’s best to act fast —who knows how long they’ll last!
