Batavia, Ohio-based Kaeser and Blair has just completed a total conversion of its lighting systems to L.E.D. lights. The conversion involved more than 350 individual lighting fixtures containing 1,200 individual lighting instruments.
By replacing four 4’ fluorescent tubes with three 4’ L.E.D. devices in each ceiling fixture, the company predicts it will reduce electrical consumption by two-thirds. In addition, the lighting is a cleaner light to better illuminate all working areas of the company’s ofices.
This latest ecological upgrade joins other efforts Kaeser and Blair has had in place for several years, including the recycling of aluminum cans and more than 57.5 tons of paper each year through paperless workflow initiatives .
