Koozie Group (previously BIC Graphic), Clearwater, Fla., announced leadership team updates to help accelerate continued efforts to build a foundation for scalable and sustainable growth.
Melissa Ralston, currently chief marketing officer, will move into the role of chief revenue officer. In this new role, Ralston will assume responsibility for the Koozie Group sales organization while retaining responsibility for marketing and communications for the entire organization, including IMAGEN Brands and Hotline Products. The sales and marketing teams will continue to focus on growing the business by building on strategic selling and channel marketing expertise.
Ralston has been in the promotional products industry for more than 15 years, with global leadership roles across marketing, product management and sourcing, and sales capacities. She has held similar roles outside the promotional products industry, working with well-known brands such as Chris-Craft, Publix Supermarkets, Sports Authority; and commercializing products for customers like Amazon, Macy’s Grainer and AAFES. Ralston currently serves on PPAI’s Strategic Foresight Committee and ASI’s Counselor Advisory Board. She also is the executive sponsor for Koozie Group’s “Keep It. Give It.” social impact and sustainability task force.
“Under Melissa’s leadership, our marketing team has driven our strategies forward by developing innovative new products, introducing exclusive brands and launching services that provide distributors with unmatched options for their clients,” said Koozie Group CEO David Klatt. “In her new role as chief revenue officer, Melissa will continue to support our distributors by further developing our performance-based sales organization.”
“As CMO, I have always worked very closely with our sales team and customers to provide strategic marketing support,” Ralston said. “I’m looking forward to further developing these relationships and expanding the potential for sales growth for both Koozie Group and our distributors.”
Pierre Montaubin has also been promoted to senior vice president for product management and sourcing. In this role, Montaubin will continue to focus on driving innovation with new products and brands across Koozie Group, IMAGEN Brands and Hotline Products, as well as maintaining high levels of quality and social compliance among vendors.
He will retain a general management role for Koozie Group’s Asia sourcing operations, and will continue to serve on the PPAI Product Responsibility Advisory Group board. Previously, Montaubin has held operational and financial project management roles with BIC, Neuf Telecom and Unilog Management Consulting, with clients such as Louis Vuitton, Gerflor and Riso.
“Pierre’s 12 years of experience in the industry across sourcing, compliance, logistics and service has proven to be an invaluable asset to the organization. With his unique global skill set and breadth of knowledge across multiple disciplines, I am honored to have him join our executive team,” said Klatt.
Ralston and Montaubin will transition to their new positions on April 2, 2021.
