Joliat comes to the promotional products industry with more than five years of advertising, public relations and marketing experience.
Most recently, Joliat was the director of marketing at Select-A-Ticket, one of the most active Broadway and general field ticket brokers in the country. At Select-A-Ticket, Joliat increased online paid search revenue by 76 percent in just two quarters. “Michael’s vast knowledge of pay-per-click marketing, in addition to search engine optimization will prove to be a key component of our business strategy moving forward,” said Rob Watson, president of MediaTree. “Not only will his experience be of importance to maximizing opportunities for MediaTree, but also an invaluable professional resource to our distributor partners,” Watson concluded.
Joliat is a graduate of Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio, where he earned his undergraduate degree in both advertising and public relations. Shortly after graduation, Joliat was a successful account executive with BrandMuscle, a marketing solutions provider, specializing in end-user portals and online user interfaces. “Part of my success has been my ability to think outside the scope of the organization to heighten the visibility of the brand,” said Joliat.
