Barry Dobb of DinoMar and Z Marketing Group, passed away on Dec. 7. at the age of 69.
Dobb, a U.K. native who ventured to the U.S. in the ’80s to develop a candy apple business, found success in the promotional products industry with Brown & Bigelow and Geiger Bros.
Dobb and his wife, Mary, worked together with Geiger for two years before traveling the Western U.S., representing promotional products manufacturers to hundreds of distributor clients as “The Marketeers.”
In his most recent position, Dobb returned to the production side of the industry, assembling promotional products for distributors as Z Marketing Group.
Dobb is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters Katy Lawrence and Rebecca Cushing; and grandchildren Alex, Anna, Elise and Caitlin.
