Newton Manufacturing Co. Employees Band Together to Fight Hunger

Employees of Newton Manufacturing Company, Newton, Iowa, again showed their generosity by donating to the local Salvation Army food pantry.

When Newton Manufacturing Co. heard the food pantry was running low on select items, the company set a goal to donate 1,000 items. The employees contributed over 1,100 non-perishable foods, paper goods and baby items to assist in helping our Jasper County families.

According to Capt. Jeff Carter of the Salvation Army, the food pantry currently offers much needed assistance to more than 450 families per month.
