Norwood Promotional Products of Indianapolis announced for the third consecutive year, the company is the supplier of the Pat Summerall Award, presented at the Legends for Charity annual luncheon benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
For the last three years, the award has been selected from Norwood’s Jaffa line of recognition pieces. “Each year I try to be as creative as possible,” said Sandy Palyo, senior account executive at Mullica Hill, New Jersey-based NewClients Inc., the distributor company that works with Legends for Charity. Palyo continued, “The criteria are something elegant, different and useful if possible—we want something that stands out.”
The award is given to a deserving recipient who throughout his or her career has demonstrated the character, integrity and leadership both on and off the job the Pat Summerall name represents.
This year’s recipient was Bristol, Connecticut-based ESPN’s Chris Berman and the selected piece was the Mario Cioni Victoria Pedestal Bowl. “It is really exciting to see our products being used for such prestigious awards year after year,” said Paul Lage, president and CEO of Norwood Promotional Products.
