OTTO International Inc., Ontario, Calif., announced that it has obtained accreditation from Quality Certification Alliance (QCA), the promotional product industry’s only independent nonprofit dedicated to helping suppliers provide safe and compliant products.
“The commitment of OTTO’s management team to strengthening their business processes and servicing their customers’ needs was clear throughout the successful accreditation effort by OTTO,” Jeff Jacobs, QCA’s executive director, said. “We congratulate them on becoming the 29th QCA-accredited supplier.”
QCA certify’s suppliers have the processes in place to ensure product quality, product safety, supply chain security, social accountability and environmental stewardship. To achieve QCA accreditation, OTTO completed a rigorous self-assessment and submitted its headquarters and supply base to multiple third-party audits. The QCA board then used a scorecard representing the performance of the company and its supply chain on the third-party audits as the foundation for granting accreditation.
“OTTO International Inc. has always been committed to the safety of our customer,” Courtney Herrin, national sales manager, said. “Through QCA, we were able to document that commitment. QCA has given us the opportunity to display just how much we value our customers, and to empower them with the confidence they need when promoting the OTTO Cap brand. This has been a substantial undertaking, and we are proud to be part of the new standard that will forever shape this industry.”
