Post Malone Is Back With Some Camo Branded Crocs

If you’ve been keeping up with our latest news on Crocs, you’d know that Post Malone has already released two special editions that sold out in a matter of minutes. Remember that “Damn Daniel” meme? We almost wish that someone would create a parody video about Posty and his Crocs, because he’s back at it again with another collab. This time, Malone announced it on his Instagram page, and it’s an Australian-exclusive pair of branded Crocs.

The last two launches consisted of a white pair with his devil Posty Co. logo and a yellow pair with barbed wire, which was fitting for his newest album, “Beerbongs & Bentleys.” His latest branded Crocs are pretty unique, as they’re more outdoor-themed with green camo colors and include jibbitz charms (of course).

This is from a previous article where Malone mentioned how this all started:

“If you like something, go get it,” the rapper said in a press release promoting the shoes. “I wear Crocs everywhere from the bar to the stage, and I felt it was the perfect collaboration to get together with Crocs and give the fans what they’ve been asking for.”

For years, Crocs have been deemed the “ugly shoe” and a complete joke, but in our latest Promo Marketing podcast with Something Inked’s Bill Feldberg, we talked about branded footwear, and more specifically, Post Malone and Crocs. When we asked Feldberg about his thoughts on how Crocs became such a hit—especially with people like Post Malone—he mentioned that Crocs have been around since the early 2000’s and that they were big even before Malone came along.

“Post Malone probably did not make Crocs cool, but probably opened it up to a whole new demographic,” he said on the podcast.

We have a feeling that as long as Post Malone continues collaborating with Crocs and supporting them, his fans will do the same. Considering he has a large social media following—his Instagram alone has 16.1 million followers—a decent amount of people saw the post. Since this release with Crocs was an Australian exclusive this time around, his fans shared a few feelings towards it on both Twitter and Instagram.

Instagram user, dylanhawk_ commented, “Can we pull some strings and throw them to the U.S. as well?” Clearly, some fans in the U.S. are trying to get in on his third collaboration.

Another person tweeted, “Well Australia is getting a limited edition @PostMalone @Crocs range – out on MAY 9…watch how swiftly these babies sell out!!!!” This is a fair statement, considering how his last two sold out within minutes.

Going back to his first two releases, the Post Malone Crocs are a big hit with his fans. We don’t know for sure yet if the new ones are going to sell out in record-breaking time like the first two, but we have a good feeling they might.
