PPAF Announces 2008 Scholarship Winners

As continued supporters of education Tampa, Florida-based Promotional Products Association of Florida (PPAF) recognized the winners of the 2008 PPAF scholarship program. The winners were George Matchak of Monrovia, California-based Sweda Company; Bill Szydlowski of Newton, Iowa-based The Vernon Company and Tim Merritt of Batavia, Ohio-based Kaeser & Blair.

Each PPAF scholarship is valued at $1,800 and must be used within 24 months of being awarded. Scholarships may be used to cover the cost of tuition, hotel, airfare and meals associated with achieving the CAS/MAS designation. Reimbursements require a written article for the PPAF newsletter and proof of education..

To qualify for a PPAF scholarship, interested members must have completed an application and included a written essay to be judged by the Scholarship Advisory Counsel, comprised of PPAF past presidents. Scholarship applications and essays are anonymously judged on a point system.
