Paul Bellantone, president and CEO of PPAI, issued the following message regarding disaster relief for promotional products companies affected by Hurricane Florence or Olivia:
PPAI stands ready to assist members and non-members who are affected by Hurricane Florence or Olivia. PPAI sends out a heartfelt message of support, and as always, we are here to help members and non-members manage the impact of the storm on their businesses.
If you have evacuated due to either of the hurricanes, or are experiencing delays or disruptions, please notify PPAI. The information you provide on your business’s status or alternative ways for customers to contact the company or check orders during or after the storm will be communicated to the industry in PPB Newslink, and through a continuously updated list on the PPAI website. See list of businesses who have reported a delays or closures.
PPAI, in conjunction with the Regional Association Council (RAC), is offering disaster relief to help promotional products industry members and non-members get back to business in the wake of this federally declared natural disaster. We are here to assist businesses in the promotional products industry seriously affected by the impact of Hurricane Florence or Olivia in the form of the Promotional Products Disaster Recovery Foundation (PPDRF) Business Recovery Fund. Affected business owners are encouraged to contact PPAI via email or call 888-I-AM-PPAI (426-7724), extension 3051, for assistance with specific needs to restart their business, to update their contact information or let PPAI know how they are doing.
PPAI asks for the industry’s help in the following areas:
- Identifying affected members and non-members and their needs
- Contacting members and non-members in the affected area to identify specific needs
If you would like to support the fund, financial contributions should be directed to the Promotional Products Business Recovery Fund, care of PPAI RAC, 3125 Skyway Circle North, Irving, Texas 75038. This fund is a 501(c)(3) organization and all contributions will be tax deductible. A tax-deductible receipt will be mailed to each donor. Or, donate online.
