Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), Irving, Texas, has been selected as a 2011 Davey Silver Award winner for its video production, “Advocating For The Industry.” The video is an educational tool intended to promote discussions between constituents and their congressional leaders in support of issues important to the promotional products industry.
“This is an outstanding achievement for PPAI, especially when you consider that just two short years ago, PPAI had no real video production capabilities and today we have a product worthy of a Davey Award from the International Academy of Visual Arts,” said Keith Vincent, director of marketing for PPAI. “It is a true credit to the creative team who saw the importance of this channel and applied their extraordinary creativity to the process.”
“Video gives us an opportunity to promote PPAI offerings ,but perhaps more importantly, it creates an additional opportunity for us to help PPAI members,” he said.
The Davey Awards is an international creative award focused exclusively on honoring outstanding creative work from the best small firms worldwide. The 2011 Davey Awards received nearly 4,000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms and public relations firms.
“The Davey Awards serves as the benchmark for recognizing creative excellence and continues to raise the bar in honoring the best work from small agencies and firms worldwide. Congratulations to the ‘Creative Davids’ at the forefront of their industry, helping to push the limits in creativity and design,” said Linda Day, executive director of the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA).
