PPAMidwest Launches ‘PhD’ Award Program

The board of directors of the Promotional Products Association Midwest (PPAMidwest) has announced the launch of the PPAMidwest PhD (Promo Honors Designee) Awards Program. This annual program will recognize three members who actively participate in the regional association’s regular slate of educational programs and events, as well as earning or renewing certifications from PPAI, and assisting in membership growth within the regional association.

Members will earn points in a variety of categories for activities created throughout the year, and top point earners will qualify for the lifetime award to be presented at PPAMidwest Holiday Socials each year.

“We realize ongoing education is vital for success in our industry, and the board chose to include it as a strategic focus,” said PPAMidwest treasurer and education chair Dennis Oglesby, MAS, of distributor GO2 Partners. “Our members are already participating in our excellent programs. They should be applauded for their efforts.”

“The focus on education is vital to the success of both our supplier and distributor members,” said PPAMidwest board president Joe Huber, of The Magnet Group. “Staying up to date with current trends, industry topics, and even national and international news as it relates to the supply chain of our business helps to ensure the most successful outcome for us all.”

PPAMidwest organizes industry-related networking and education opportunities to benefit membership and enhance professional relationships within the Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska geographic area.
