Prestige Glass International, Elliot Lake, Ontario, announced that it won gold, silver and bronze awards at the Promotional Products Professionasl of Canada (PPPC) Image Awards competition. The company won the following awards:
- A gold award for best engraving and laser engraving for a layered award built of aluminum and starfire crystal gears, with multiple etching and laser-engraving techniques throughout. The same multiple-etched gear product won a second gold award for best made-in-Canada product.
- A silver award for best digital imprint. The winning piece utilized multilayered aluminum and glass to create an award with UV-cured digital printing on each layer.
- A bronze award for service and recognition for an award sculpture. The winning piece was created with numerous layers of glass and metal, creating a rendition of a microphone.
Prestige Glass International’s sister company, Toronto-based Waterleaf Studios, also took home a gold award for best digital imprint for a reproduction of original wildlife art duplicated on 100 percent organic, handcrafted paper using a digital print with UV-curing process.
