Prime Line Announces $30,000 Donation to PPEF

PrimePrime Line, Bridgeport, Conn., announced a commitment to donate $30,000 to the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF).

“It’s our way of giving something back to the industry,” said Jeff Lederer, president and CEO of Prime Line. At the 2016 PPAI Expo, Prime Line sponsored SuccessFit4Life!, a fun run/walk benefiting the PPEF.

Since 1989, PPEF has awarded more than $1 million to hundreds of students who have a parent in the promotional products industry or who work for a company in the industry. The foundation has $150,000 in scholarships available to those who apply by the March 15 deadline.

Prime Line and the Lederer family have established a tradition of supporting both industry and community causes, such as the Breast Cancer Alliance, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Susan’s Rock—Stand Strong Against Domestic Violence and others.

Currently, Prime Line is providing support to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission in Bridgeport. Employees participate in quarterly events, such as food and clothing drives, in conjunction with activities initiated by the Bridgeport Rescue Mission.

“Our staff is doing a wonderful job helping this organization make an impact in the community,” Lederer said. “They are an extension of the Prime family, and we are very proud of them. We are planning something similar for our Gaffney, S.C., Jetline facility.”
