Proforma, Cleveland, recently held its PROmentum Q4 Kickoff Event to provide Proforma owners, sales reps and team members with the momentum and motivation to head into the fourth quarter poised for success. The meeting, which was held virtually on Sept. 15-16, was attended by more than 600 members of the Proforma family.
Kicking off PROmentum 2020, Proforma CEO Vera Muzzillo delivered a “State of Proforma” address highlighting the organization’s strength and stability as a result of its being able to successfully pivot amidst the recent challenges of COVID-19. One key pivot strategy included an immediate shift to understanding and delivering valuable PPE items, prompting a surge of new customer business and new relationships. This pivot strategy, along with others in the areas of technology, marketing, supplier relations and e-commerce, provided the foundation for the success stories shared by Proforma owners in one of the events best attended sessions, “Pivot to Success Stories that Will Change Your Momentum.”
“We are so excited that more than 600 members of the Proforma family found it important to attend this critical Q4 Kickoff Event,” said Muzzillo. “Now more than ever, it’s important for our owners and team members to understand the strength of the Proforma network and to have confidence that we will persevere, and we will all be stronger together as a result of the collaborative efforts of our owners, supplier partners and our Proforma team members.”
Additional agenda items included “Momentum and Motivation,” delivered by Proforma founder Greg Muzzillo, an introduction to new Q4 marketing and vendor campaigns initiated by the organization’s Owner Advisory Council, as well as an e-commerce presentation focused on the importance of understanding how the right e-commerce solution can power through challenging times. Each day also offered interactive supplier roundtables for event attendees looking for new strategies and new product selling ideas.
“In typical Proforma fashion, Proforma delivered beyond expectations once again!” said George Klare, owner of Proforma Design Management, Alvarado, Texas. “In today’s economy, new and fresh ways to approach sales, marketing and supplier relationships are integral to reach your next level of success. Our team will be revisiting and implementing concepts from this event for months to come to reach our lofty goals in Q4 and beyond!”
