R.S. Owens Hires Angeloni as Graphic Designer

Chicago-based R.S. Owens has hired Nicole Angeloni as graphic designer.

“With the growth in imprinted orders we have seen over the last year, this is an important position for Owens to fill with a professional of Nicole’s talent and background,” said Ray David, art director.

In her new role, Angeloni will be responsible for managing artwork for imprinted orders, including typesetting, logo creation and enhancements, layouts and personalizations. She will also be involved in developing and implementing new procedures to both optimize and accelerate artwork turnaround.

“Accurately and quickly preparing art files for all our different processes, such as lasering, screening, etching and engraving, is what our customers expect of us, and Nicole comes to us with five years of academic and work experience,” added David. “The addition of Nicole to our team will noticeably improve our ability to service customer requests and orders in a very timely manner.”

A recent graduate from Eastern Illinois University, Angeloni worked as an in-house graphic designer at the Center for Academic Technology Support (CATS). Before graduating, she completed an internship program with Romeoville Public Television, where she worked on graphic design projects, such as redesigning its Web site, as well as creating posters, brochures and other materials. Angeloni has also helped friends and family develop marketing materials for their own private businesses.

“I’m excited to be a part of the R.S. Owens’ team of designers,” said Angeloni. “It’s great to work with a company of such prestige right out of college and use my skills to create products that many people will treasure for a long time after I’ve designed them.”
