It hasn’t even been officially announced, but we’ve just about seen everything there is to see when it comes to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone thanks to a steady stream of leaks.
We’ve already discussed how the probable inclusion of a USB-C port means that the smartphone accessories game (charging cables, speakers, headphones and more) could be in for a major shakeup—especially if Apple goes the same route (which looks likely).
But, now that we can take a good look at the smartphone itself (assuming all leaked information is legitimate), we can start thinking about another aspect of the promotional products space: Cases.
Business Insider published pictures from what it believes to be a reliable leak. The phone features rounded corners a large screen and no home button (instead using on-screen buttons). The phone appears to feature a fingerprint scanner on the back, next to the rear camera.
The edge-to-edge screen also seems like it could be vulnerable to cracks, so this would be even more of an incentive for sturdy cases and screen protectors, not to mention cleaning devices to cover all of that extra screen space.
Check out the full, albeit short, leak video below.
