Arguably one of the most famous satirical publications, The Onion, has made a triumphant return to its roots, returning to publishing a monthly printed newspaper years after it was taken to an online-only format. Senior editor Toni McQuilken had the chance to sit down with Danielle Strle, chief product officer; and Jimmy Hasse, creative director of editorial art, The Onion; as well as Andy Sanchez, president of Topweb, the Chicago, Illinois-based commercial printer who took on the actual production of the revitalized print edition.
