A South Carolina apparel company that specializes in locally focused T-shirt and polo designs is selling a T-shirt to benefit victims of flooding in South Carolina.
Loggerhead Apparel, Greenville, S.C., is selling its new “Love runs deeper” design on its website for $26. The design features an outline of the state of South Carolina filled with water. All proceeds from sales go toward the South Carolina chapters of the American Red Cross.
“Though it is tragic to see our neighbors suffering in the flood waters in the midlands and on the coast, we are continuously inspired by the love and support the flood victims have given each other, the thousands of volunteers doing whatever they can to help and the local businesses opening their doors to those in need,” the company said on its website. “It proves that, in South Carolina, love runs deeper than any flood waters.”
Loggerhead Apparel’s president, Zac Painter, told Greenville Online that the company posted the T-shirt campaign on Oct. 8 and had to order more by the end of the day.
“[That] is a great sign for what we hope will be a substantial donation,” Painter told Greenville Online.
The T-shirts were made in the U.S. and printed in S.C.
