Showdown Displays, Brooklyn Center, Minn., has acquired Xarisma, a manufacturer of soft signage based in Huntsville, Ala. In October, Showdown acquired Jansen Display Group, furthering its European presence, and formally integrated Creative Banner Displays.
“Xarisma’s creative branding solutions and innovative display development is an ideal complement to the current offerings of Showdown Displays,” Kevin Walsh, who took the job as president of Showdown Displays last month, said in a press release. “We’re equally excited to bring the added production capacity, expanded facility space, and Xarisma’s expertise and talent in custom fabrications to the Showdown family.”
Xarisma’s integration into the Showdown brand will allow Showdown to offer a wider variety of stock and custom displays.
“Showdown Displays is the undisputed industry leader in portable, lightweight displays,” Jon Houser, Xarisma owner and vice president of sales and marketing, said. “The entire Xarisma team is excited about the synergies this acquisition represents, as well as the opportunity to leverage each company’s strengths to accelerate our overall growth.”
Xarisma will keep its operations and staff at its 85,000 sq. ft. facility in Huntsville, but will do business under the Showdown Displays brand name.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
