Shumsky, Dayton, Ohio, announced that Keith Hawk, senior vice president of sales of LexisNexis Inc., has joined the Shumsky advisory board, effective immediately.
Hawk’s professional background includes more than 30 years in a wide variety of roles (e.g., senior vice president of sales, vice president of customer support, director of marketing, director of technical support) in the electronic publishing industry, and has played a broad role in the development of LexisNexis Inc. as a company. He is an active public speaker, primarily on the topics of leadership, principled negotiation techniques, consultative selling and the development of performance metrics. He has co-authored two popular business books, “Get-Real Selling: Your Personal Coach for Real Sales Excellence” and “Terrific! Five Star Customer Service.”
