Somehow, against all odds, Crocs became one of the most popular footwear choices in America. Another extremely popular brand, Taco Bell, is working with Crocs on a co-branded pair of slides that are, honestly, pretty cool.
Unlike the Crocs clogs, these are more classic slide sandals, with a purple-to-black color fade, the fast food chain’s bell logo on the top, and a message to “Live más” in each foot.

Not bad, right?
It’s hard to describe, but Taco Bell has managed to create a pretty stylish aesthetic for being a fast food restaurant. They’ve used trendy bands like Turnstile and Portugal. The Man in commercials to reach the youth. And now partnering with a brand like Crocs that, in the age where Crocs could be considered fashionable, they took a piece of footwear and not only put their logo on it, but made it genuinely cool looking.
Taco Bell has also always gone heavy with its branding, opening a whole hotel in 2019, complete with gift shop and other branded products that guests could use while they were there .
When you have a brand that’s already perceived in a certain way, anything you attach it to becomes cool. That works the other way around, too. If you take something like a luxury branded promotional item and slap a client’s logo on it, they benefit from that brand reputation.
