Promo Marketing has mailed out its second edition of its Power Box to 600 recipients, which consist of end-buyers and top-selling distributors. The box once again included the newest and hottest promotional products from leading industry suppliers, like 3M, Hit Promotional Products, Logomark, Prime Line and SnugZ USA.
“We were seeing more and more product boxes popping up across dozens of industries—Birchbox has one for beauty, there’s a Barkbox for pups, etc.—so we thought, ‘Why not promotional product boxes?'” said Nichole Stella, group president of Promo Marketing. “With suppliers constantly sending samples and distributors consistently requesting them, it made sense to have a ‘Power Box’. It limits a lot of unnecessary back and forth and helps our suppliers reach top-level distributors that are going to push their product to a sale; and at the same time, provides good inspiration for distributors and their clients.”
In this Power Box, recipients will receive more than 15 samples, including a journal, towel, L.E.D watch, tumbler, tote bag, cap, essential oil and more. Since tech-related items were among the most requested for future boxes by recipients of the first box, a car charger and cell phone mount are included in this box.

Distributors indicated that they had orders placed as a direct result of the box and found their contents to be very helpful.
“I received my PM Power Box at 12:30 p.m. [Oct. 30],” Patty DuFour, TAS, of Geiger, said of the initial Power Box that was sent in the fall. “By 1:15 p.m., a selection of these samples were lent to a potential new client for a 2:30 p.m. marketing department meeting. Thank you for the inspiration!”
