Chocolate Inn Ltd., Freeport, N.Y, a leading custom chocolate, confectionery and gift manufacturer to the promotional products industry, and Taylor & Grant Specialties Limited, Waterloo, Ontario, a leading Canadian manufacturer of mints, wrapped candies, chocolates and food gifts, announced today that they have reached a definitive agreement to combine their business operations.
The combined company will feature an extensive assortment of manufactured food products—mints, chocolates, confectionery, wrapped candies and food gifts—coupled with an extensive range of imprinting capabilities to meet distributors’ year-round needs.

The transaction marks Chocolate Inn’s first major strategic growth initiative since July 2010, when Chocolate Inn announced its strategic partnership with Nassau Candy, the largest specialty confectionery distributor in the United States, a leading North American confectionery and snack manufacturer, and a leading national gourmet foods importer and distributor.
“The combination of Taylor & Grant with Chocolate Inn creates the largest food manufacturer in the promotional products industry,” Miller said in an interview with Promo Marketing. “This combination, with the additional imprinting capabilities of Taylor & Grant, will really allow us to provide a wide variety of food products in any sort of packaging—from four-color process to digital printing on tin.”
