Tekweld Announces Deal to Control Pioneer Line Promo Sales in U.S.

Tekweld LogoTekweld, Hauppauge, NY, announced yesterday afternoon that it will now control the sales and marketing efforts of Pioneer Line products in the U.S.

The deal, which Tekweld referred to as a “licensing agreement” in a press release, will allow Tekweld to carry products like promotional banners, flags, table covers, pop-up walls, tents, and more. Pioneer Balloon will also continue to manufacture and print balloons sold by Tekweld.

“Tekweld is a recognized leader in customized promotional items for trade shows, including sanitizer, drinkware, bags, acrylic items, and more,” said Tekweld CEO Scott Slade. “We can now improve the customer experience by also offering table covers, tents, and other promotional products our customers need not only for indoor and outdoor events, but advertising at car dealerships, festivals, and more. In addition, we will further increase market share by offering custom printed AdRite and Qualatex latex, and Qualatex Microfilm gallons throughout the promotional industry.”

Ray Rodriguez, who stepped down as vice president of sales and marketing for Tekweld and formed 5P Promo to work with supplier ownership and develop sales and marketing structures within their businesses, played a role in bringing these two companies together.

“I feel like I have come full circle, as Pioneer Line was one of the first lines I picked up to represent when I had my repping firm back in the ’90s,” Rodriguez says. “I’m truly excited about bringing these two premier lines together to form a strong sales and marketing one-two punch in the promotional industry.”

Pioneer Line products will be available as part of Tekweld’s offering to distributors in the promotional products industry. Pioneer Balloon Company will continue to manufacture and print balloons, and Tekweld will be in charge of the customer service, sales, and marketing of them.

“We are truly excited to be part of this great partnership with Pioneer Line powered by Tekweld,” Dan Flynn, CEO of the Pioneer Balloon Company, said. “This team will ensure the highest quality products and service to our promotional products distributors.
