At this point, it’s not even really a debate that Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback ever to play football. The dude just wins everything. He’s allergic to losing. Now, TB12 is venturing into the apparel game, releasing Brady Brand, his own apparel line complete with his very own Pantone shade.
After announcing it last year, the line of “technical apparel for training and living” finally debuted today. With one of the most valuable names in sports attached to the apparel, it’s no surprise that some of the products are on the pricier side.
T-shirts alone run from $50 to $75, like the “Regenerate Jersey Short Sleeve,” which has an athletic but boxy fit and technical features, keeping it performance-ready but up-to-date with current fashion trends.

Basically, this brand is bridging a gap between sportswear and streetwear, creating items that work as fashion pieces and athletic wear at the gym. So, essentially, it boils down Tom Brady’s public image pretty well.
“You have to think about what people are really looking for,” Brady told HypeBeast. “There’s an aspect of performance in everyday wear that we really want to do. The knowledge I have gained over the years and what functional apparel is like for the last 20 years of my sport has really allowed us to develop something where we can really leave a mark.”
In the future, Brady Brand will go the route of other sportswear companies and license other athletes’ names and likenesses, including some college athletes who are now free to do so thanks to the NCAA’s loosened NIL rules.
Brady Brand is also keeping things current by entering into the crypto world. In his HypeBeast interview, Brady mentioned that he’s interested in accepting cryptocurrency as payment for products, and confirmed that there would be NFT tie-ins for the apparel brand.
“There’s definitely going to be an intersection of tangible assets with clothes in virtual, as well,” he said. “For example, things that people will be able to buy that they can use in their games—they can create unique characters, unique looks, unique styles. I have a very creative, imaginative, 12-year-old boy who loves these types of things. So he keeps me abreast of what’s going on in the digital world. But absolutely that’s the direction the world is heading.”
Love him or hate him, Tom Brady just gets stuff right. The apparel brand team obviously spent a lot of time thinking about what items would look current yet timeless, stylish yet functional. As lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fans facing Tom Brady in the playoffs soon, it pains us to say this, but Brady just nailed it once again.
Whether or not NFT tie-ins are the future like he thinks, it’s at least big right now, so he’s smart to integrate some virtual apparel alongside his real products. And as one of the greatest NFL stars to ever play the game, Brady’s name alone should help him move plenty of units.
It’s frustrating how good he is at everything.
