Last week, Inc. published its annual Inc. 5000, a list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. As we have reported in previous years, a number of industry suppliers and distributors made the ranks. This year, we counted 42 promotional products companies among the 5,000.
The highest-ranking company was Pompano Beach, Florida-based The Spice Lab, ranking at No. 549.
The list ranks U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit companies based on revenue growth over a three-year period. The top company on the list this year, Costa Mesa, California-based Ultra Mobile, saw a three-year growth of 100,859 percent, with $118.2 million in 2014.
iPROMOTEu, Wayland, Mass., made it to the prestigious list for the fifth year in a row, with a 60 percent three-year growth.
“We’re thrilled to be included, once again, on Inc.’s list of the fastest-growing companies in America,” said Ross Silverstein, president and CEO of iPROMOTEu, in a press release. “The recognition is a testament to the strength of our business model.”
Of the 42 promotional companies, 8 were Proforma owners. The highest-ranked Proforma owner was Proforma Progressive Marketing at No. 1578.
“We’re extremely proud of the eight Proforma owners who have earned a spot on the Inc. 5000,” said Greg Muzzillo, founder of Proforma, Cleveland, in a press release.
