While the merchandise provider for the Democratic National Convention was chosen months ago, the Cleveland 2016 Host Committee selected its official merchandise provider for the Republican National Convention yesterday. According to Crain’s Cleveland Business, Mogadore, Ohio-based ASW Global was chosen as the official merchandise group for the convention, which runs July 18 to 21 in Cleveland.
The company’s Event Merchandising Group will handle designing, marketing and selling signage and accessories for the convention. The designs feature a trademarked logo with an elephant and a guitar or the Cleveland skyline. Buyers also can opt for merchandise featuring the “Proud Host” logo. Merchandise includes T-shirts, balloons, buttons and aprons.
Merchandise will be available at an online store, as well as a handful of physical locations.
