The Vernon Company, based in Newton, Iowa, announced 11 account executives and their clients who were recently honored as winners of the company’s 2008 Galaxy Awards competition.
The Vernon Company Galaxy Awards program is designed to recognize excellence in promotional-product program planning and execution. It is a national awards competition where entries are judged for development, implementation and outstanding use of promotional products in marketing and corporate branding programs.
Winners are recognized for their creativity, effectiveness of program, appropriateness of product and program results. Awards are given at gold, silver and bronze levels. Fifteen awards were given out nationwide and account executives have the ability to win multiple awards in multiple levels.

The Vernon Company account representatives were presented their Galaxy Awards in March at the company’s annual Award and Recognition Banquet, held during the Vernon National Sales Meeting in St. Pete Beach, Florida.
