We’ll admit that we probably wouldn’t have predicted SpongeBob SquarePants would dominate footwear trends in 2019, but here we are. Nike already released its Bikini Bottom-inspired Kyrie Irving x SpongeBob collaboration, which featured several designs. Now, Timberland is the latest apparel company to take advantage of the show’s 20th anniversary.
According to Geek.com, Timberland has announced two signature SpongeBob boots coming to a pineapple near you, and there is going to be a line of matching apparel as well.

While Nike went with some yellow colorways for its shoes, Timberland is going all in on a bold blue option, which is a nod to SpongeBob’s favorite activity: jellyfishing. There is also a black pair for those looking for a more subtle approach to their Nickelodeon fandom.
The collection goes live on Timberland’s website on Sept. 12, and we have no doubt they will sell out fast. Will this be the last SpongeBob Squarepants shoe collection? Or will we get a Crocs collaboration in the future? Only time will tell.
