The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is recalling infant bodysuits due to a choking hazard.
The Darth Vader Infant Bodysuits were sold in five sizes: 3M, 6M, 12M, 18M and 24M. The 100 percent cotton garment is gray with black sleeves and trim, and features a graphic of Darth Vader as a baby holding a lightsaber, with the text “If you only knew the power of THE DARK SIDE.”
The company also is recalling the Disneyland 60th Infant Bodysuits, which were sold in the same sizes. It has a light blue body; royal blue sleeves and trim; and artwork on the front of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and Pluto in front of the Disneyland Castle.
The snaps on the bodysuits can come loose, posing a choking hazard to young children. The company has not received any reports of injuries, but consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact Walt Disney Parks and Resorts to learn more about returning the products for a full refund.
