Key Takeaways
• Energy Upgrade: Warwick Publishing (asi/95280) completed an energy-efficiency initiative, replacing 616 light fixtures with LEDs, cutting energy use by more than 130,000 kilowatt hours annually.
• Sustainability Commitment: The supplier’s project was made possible through a partnership with the Illinois Municipal Electric Agency.
St. Charles, IL-based Warwick Publishing (asi/95280), a fifth-generation family-owned manufacturer of branded paper products, has completed a major energy-efficiency initiative in partnership with the Illinois Municipal Electric Agency (IMEA).

The project, made possible through the IMEA’s Electric Efficiency program, included a comprehensive upgrade to interior and exterior LED lighting throughout Warwick’s manufacturing facility and headquarters. In total, the project replaced 616 fixtures, resulting in an estimated annual savings of 136,400 kilowatt hours – equivalent to removing 96.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere each year.
“Through this project, we are very proud to build on Warwick’s track record of being an environmentally sensitive organization,” said Alex Paschal, CEO of Warwick. “Our partnership with the IMEA has helped us take another step towards the future, and as a part of the big picture, build out the landscape of responsible manufacturing in the Chicagoland area.”
In addition to significant reductions in energy consumption, the supplier said the upgrades will help preserve over 113 acres of forest annually, eliminate the equivalent of 10,951 gallons of gasoline and save nearly 225 barrels of oil. Warwick noted that it’s a meaningful continuation of its mission: to create high-quality made-in-America promotional products while being intentional about sustainability and innovation.
Warwick has been upping its sustainability efforts in recent months. Last year, the supplier announced that it had earned Forest Stewardship Council chain of custody certification through SCS Global Services.
Founded over a century ago, Warwick Publishing manufactures a variety of premium paper-based promotional products – including calendars, notepads, presentation folders and packaging – over 95% of which are made in the USA.
