World Emblem, North Miami, Fla., announced that it has relocated its Canadian facility to a new, larger manufacturing plant in Mississauga, Ontario. The relocation comes as a result of the company’s growth over the past few years.
The new office space is approximately 10,000 sq. ft., which makes it twice the size of its previous location. This location will produce embroidered patches, sublimated patches and direct embroidery with 46 embroidered heads and two shifts to accommodate the increase in demand from clients.
“Moving to a new and independent building will significantly position World Emblem far better than the competition by giving us the flexibility to reduce customer freight costs and improve turn times by eliminating custom duties,” said Jim Kozel, vice president of operations for World Emblem.
World Emblem’s new location and enhanced operational efficiencies will help it continue to grow and evolve to keep pace with its clients’ needs.
